Our story

We started out…

not as coffee experts but heavy coffee drinkers. We are still and will always be the students when it comes to these magical beans. Along this learning journey, with an unshakable belief in the power of knowledge sharing, Vietnam Ca-phe Project was born.

It was the summer of 2018 when I spent most of my days scouting around the local roasteries for the finest beans. I remember spamming my father’s friends of friends, pleading to have a sit down with the experts, learning as much as I could about coffee, and crashing after cupping almost a dozen of samples. That day when I got home - completely coffee drunk - had I realized this was what I would love to do for the rest of my life - searching for amazing coffee beans and sharing them with others. 

“It’s a fate that we are all sitting here and conversing about coffee,” said my dad, who’s also my original inspiration and the biggest supporter of this project. Those whom I met along my journey can spend hours and hours talking from the beans to the economy of coffee. You can see the starry glaze in their eyes, the contentment in life, and the pride in what they do for a living. 

Vietnam Ca-phe Project is not only about the beans, but also the people who cultivate, produce, package, and deliver them to your hands. We want to honor the beauty of what we consume on a daily basis that’s often taken for granted; to enrich consumers with coffee knowledge; to become the industry catalyst by practicing and promoting sustainability, from sourcing to packaging, as well as extending product life cycle. As Vietnam is joining the “third wave of coffee culture,” we want to ensure Vietnamese coffee beans would receive the recognition they deserve.

This project comes to life because of you and is made for you, meaning we cannot achieve our goals without you. So join us, grab a cup of joe  — roasted and served the way you like it— and spark your day with joys and self-love.
